  21. Motorola has a deal with Apple which allows Motorola to even sell MacOS to
  22. third parties (I wonder what they paid).
  23. IBM's deal with Apple is more "You use my OS and I use your OS":
  24. Apple is selling AIX for really big Mac Server Systems (who want's MacOS on
  25. a server?) and IBM (with OS/2 PPC on ice until, at least, 97) has discovered
  26. a hole in its PPC workstation market which it intends to fill with MacOS.

  35. Can't tell what's wrong with them but "crappiness" is a good word for most of
  36. the software I've seen from IBM. On the other hand IBM's "employee written
  37. software" is quite good: Somebody must be preventing them from doing such
  38. things at work ...
